OSM
Accompanying catalog to the OSM group exhibition. The OSM exhibition was built on a visual play with the diversity of artistic manuscripts. We have combined the works of prominent contemporary artists into a surprising whole, each moving in a different artistic position. Consciously and unconsciously, they refer to each other.Tereza Fišerová, one of the youngest participants, as a representative of video art, Anna Hulačová in terms of sculpture and plastic work with matter, Alžběta Josefy, a painter of enchanting themes, Alena Kotzmannová as the only one in the category of photography, which naturally cancels every from her works, Pavlína Kvita, on the border between sculpture and object, Dana Sahánková in the role of a supreme draughtsman, Pavla Sceranková, an unclassifiable creator of kinetic installations, objects, videos, and finally the legendary draughtsman, Jitka Svobodová, subduing the classical perception of the object world in drawing. Authors from OSMi meet for the first time in similarly unexpected visual contexts. The exhibition can be read as a message on several levels – as a commemoration of Women's Day without political and social connotations, as an exhibition of today's exceptional artists in an impromptu conversation, and finally as a women's exhibition, which without March 8 would no longer have a justification these days.
