EPOS 257 – SENO

A book documenting one of the artist's Epose 257 projects.

Do you remember when bales of hay appeared around Prague? It's been two years already and none other than Epos 257 was behind this event. Hay appeared during one autumn weekend in 2009 in several places in Prague. Two days later, the tabloid media threatened the public with a terrorist attack... Only now, through the book publication Epos 257, are they claiming authorship. Check out some previews, info and a little report from the launch of the book.

The book forms a more complex view of the work, it critically relates to today's times and society. The text was contributed by Tomáš Pospiszyl – publicist, fine arts theorist and Jiří Sádlo – Czech naturalist and biologist, who, among other things, deals with the topics of new wilderness, suburbia and post-cultural landscape. The majority of the photos are from Jan Čech, who personally participated in the event during its documentation.
