Trafo Gallery presents a solo exhibition by the painter and photographer Siegfried Herz (*1986) entitled The Great Noon. The exhibition presents an exceptionally focused body of work that brings to the fore the themes of emotional exposure, vulnerability and existential loneliness. Herz’s paintings, drawings and photographs appear as revelations from a forgotten time. In the relentless light of ‘Great Noon’, they strip people of their protective masks and transform the body into a pure reflection of the soul.
The opening will take place on 10 September at 7.00 pm, when the accompanying catalogue, designed by Jana Vahalíková, will also be presented to the public for the first time.
