Four years of war, five opportunities to help. 💙💛
We have joined the #modrazluta initiative, which commemorates solidarity with Ukraine. Over the next few days, we will present four works—one for each year of the war. We will donate 20% of the proceeds from each sale to SOS Ukraine by People in Need.
We begin with the painting Owl by Martin Salajka from the Nebula exhibition. The work carries blue and yellow symbolism that connects art with the initiative and support for Ukraine.
The second work in the #modrazluta series is the painting Darts by Jakub Janovský. As the author himself says: "I often paint objects from my own childhood. I had these exact darts as a boy and recently found them at a flea market. I bought them right away and used them to create a still life, because the theme of darts, targets, rockets, and goals is more relevant than ever in this time of war in Europe."
The third work in the #modrazluta series is Restless Horizon by František Skála. The painting opens up space for reflection on the current times and values that are important.
