Pavla Malinová

Bio

Pavla Malinová (1985) is one of the most prominent painters of contemporary Czech painting with international acclaim. Her work is characterized by spiritual, even psychologically-esoteric figurative painting, retrospective symbolism referring to historical artistic styles, a dynamic play of transitions between 2D and 3D space, and above all, brilliant work with color.
In 2019, she participated in the finals of the Jindřich Chalupecký Prize and, among other things, presented her works in important Czech and international institutions (for example, in Brussels, Berlin or Krakow at the Orient traveling exhibition or in Katowice at the Szara Gallery at the Labyrinth of the Soul exhibition).
