The book Michal Škapa / Analfabet maps the work of one of the most prominent authors associated with the Czech graffiti scene. Michal Škapa (* 1978) is one of the strongest generation of writers who joined in the mid-1990s and has long been one of its leaders. His qualities are testified by the fact that he gradually succeeded in enforcing his usual gallery work. Proof of this is the ANALFABET exhibition focused on the part of the work that is based directly on graffiti roots and deals with the letter as an abstract character with a strong emotional charge. Dynamic structural compositions created in various media provoke concentrated handwriting energy and cryptographically encrypted content. The ironizing name hits the problematic and not / graffiti comprehension of the majority viewer. We have prepared the first union catalog for the author, which monitors his latest work in the context of the development of his entire work.
